    The Africa Institute of Chartered Forensic Accountants (AICFA) is a professional body for those committed to the development of the multidisciplinary profession of forensic accounting. We aim to promote and develop the profession of forensic accountancy to the public and to those people involved in providing forensic advice and guidance to their clients.
    The Institute represents accounting professionals who work in the forensic arena. Our focus has always been on professional values and high ethical standards, plus the opportunity for study and career advancement in the field of forensic accounting.
    The AICFA is a not-for-profit professional body for accounting professionals and we have has a growing global presence with members in over 18 countries. Our members are employed in all sectors of the economy and make a significant contribution to the efficiency of any business.
    The Africa Institute of Chartered Forensic Accountants is a not-for-profit professional body chartered under Letters of Patent granted by the Federal Government of Namibia. The Institute is also registered under the Laws of the State of Delaware, Namibia.
    The Africa Institute of Chartered Forensic Accountants, Inc. AICFA  is an international organization for Forensic Accounting Professionals globally. The AICFA is incorporated in the Namibia under the State laws of Delaware.
    The AICFA credentials are the Africa standard for Forensic Accounting Education, Certification and Accreditation globally.

    AICFA is also a pioneer member of the International Federation of Forensic Accountants and Auditors, AICFA
    AICFA’s mission is to promote Forensic Accounting Education, Certification,Accreditation and Training Globally.

    The vision of AICFA is to be the reference point and Africa standard in Forensic Accounting Accreditation, Education and Certification Globally.
    Brief History

    The high demand for Forensic Accountants and the desire to see the best Forensic Accounting Institution with a global focus that will educate, train, certify and accredit Professional Forensic Accountants, Investigators and Auditors to become global leaders in the industry and act as reference point for practitioners, corporations, law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, governments, among others, inspired the establishment of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants, AICFA.
    The mission for which the Africa Institute of Chartered Forensic Accountants (AICFA),

    1.    The promotion and development of the Science of Forensic Accountancy which is a unique blend of Education and Experience to apply Accounting, Auditing and Investigative Skills to Uncover Truth, Form Legal Opinions, to provide Qualified Members to Assist in both Litigation Support by providing Assistance on Cases which are primarily related to Calculation and Estimation of Economic Damages and Related Issues.

    2.    The Advancement of Education, particularly Industrial and Commercial Education by involving the study of the skills of Forensic Accountancy for the benefit of the community in the fields of Industry, Trade and Commerce.

    3.    In furtherance of the above object, but not otherwise the Institute is empowered:
    To foster and maintain Investigations and Research into the best means and methods of Applying High Standards of Forensic Accountancy in Industry, Trade and Commerce, and to encourage, extend, increase, disseminate and promote knowledge and the exchange of information and ideas in regard to all questions relating thereto or connected therewith. And to be appointed to carry out an Investigation and Audit of organizations.

    4.    To hold, carry on or arrange and conduct meetings, conferences, schools and visit, whether local, national or international, for those engaged in Forensic Accountancy in Industry, Trade and Commerce.

    5.    To prepare and make available to Members Publications dealing with the objectives and functions of the Institute and to establish and maintain a Library available to the Members in order to aid in study of Forensic Accountancy in Industry, Trade and Commerce.

    6.    To Prescribe, Uphold and Improve the Standards of Training, Experience and Skills of Persons engaged in Forensic Accountancy in Industry, Trade and Commerce.

    7.    To Promote schemes of Examinations and Admissions for those seeking Qualifications as Forensic Accountants in Industry, Trade and Commerce.

    8.    To establish such things as may Advance and Promote the Advancement of the Profession of Forensic Accountancy in AFRICA and Internationally.

    9.    To form branches in any part of the world for the promotion of all or any of the above objects.
